ConfRxiv is aimed at enhancing collaboration among researchers, promoting extensive dissemination of scientific results and informing ongoing and planned research through more timely reporting of completed research.  Authors, by posting preprints on ConfRxiv, are able to make their findings immediately available to the scientific community and receive feedback on draft manuscripts before they are submitted to journals.

Before being posted online, articles are not peer-reviewed, edited, or typeset. All manuscripts go through a basic screening process for offensive and/or non-scientific content.  They are thoroughly checked for plagiarism as well.  A manuscript may be submitted prior to, or concurrently with, submission to a journal.  But if it has already been accepted for publication, published, or posted elsewhere, it will not be posted.  Manuscripts, once posted on ConfRxiv, receive a digital object identifier (DOI), so they are discoverable, citable, indexed by numerous search engines and third-party services and cannot be removed.

ConfRxiv accepts preprints of articles from all conferences. After an article is published, readers can add public comments to it on ConfRxiv. Comments are moderated to make sure that they comply with the standards of normal professional discourse.
